Beaches

Starting from the family beach of Agios Nikolaos, we continue towards Porto Pefko with its emerald waters, but also the games in the sand. In Mylos, a deserted beach, the green merges with the blue, creating dreamlike images and color palettes. A little further down, the cosmopolitan Gregolimano, with its blue waters, music and water sports will lure you into a rhythm of all-day fun. In Kavos you will enjoy the sea, while you can sit in one of the numerous taverns, enjoying one of the best sunsets in the area.

On the other side of the Euboean coast you will find Kanatadika, a beautiful beach to swim in, but also to try delicious dishes in its picturesque tavernas.

At the peak of your seaside experience, you will find the Seychelles of Greece, the Lihadonisia with its tropical waters and unique energy!

Culture

The archaeological collection of Edipsos – It is housed in a room of the hydrotherapy center of the EOT and exhibits elements from the prehistoric past of the area including sculptures, reliefs, tombstones, capitals, coins, vases.
The Cave of Sylla - It is located in Loutra Edipsos behind the hydrotherapy center of the EOT. It is a small building with a dome which has been covered by the deposits of the sulphurous waters that spring up in the area and gives the impression that it is for cave entrance. The archaeological findings lead us to the conclusion that apart from the Roman general Sulla, the springs of Agioi Anargyri were visited by many Roman and Byzantine emperors [Constantine of Byzantium].
Natural History Museum of Istiaia. - Includes a large collection of embalmed species [ 217 species of birds which is the largest collection in Greece, several mammals, reptiles, amphibians, insects, fish, rocks, minerals, shells, shells]. Installed in a 630 sq.m. building. it is considered a Scientific Institution having been created only for scientific purposes.
Folklore museum of Istiaia - includes objects of daily use folk art, urban and traditional costumes of the 19th-20th century, a large collection of jewelry and textiles from northern Evia, loom, kitchen and agricultural work tools.
Folklore museum of Agios - Impressive exhibits that come from the daily activities but also the occupations of the inhabitants in earlier times.
Drosini Tower Museum - In Gouves, built on top of a rock, is the tower of the poet Drosini. It is a two-story building of Venetian architecture and in recent years it has been operating as a museum with an interesting folklore collection.

Weather – Climate

Greece has a warm and Mediterranean climate. The climate of Edipsos is quite dry. This has the effect of creating ideal conditions for spa tourism but also for pleasant holidays in general.
